Best value holiday destinations for Brits in 2022 include Turkey, Portugal, Malta, Spain, Bulgaria and the USA according to new research from the Post Office

Turkey, Bulgaria, Spain and the USA have been named as some of the best value holidays for Brits this summer in new research conducted by the Post Office.
The study compared 36 popular holiday destinations on a range of factors including costs for the likes of a cup of coffee, three-course evening meal for two, and bottles of beer or glasses of wine.
It seems Brits may want to consider Turkey holidays as summer hotspot Marmaris came top in the new rankings, with prices down by 37{e9f0aada585b9d73d0d08d3c277fd760092386ec23cac37d50f4b8cd792b062a} year-on-year. The destination has already long been a firm favourite for family holidays thanks to its plethora of brilliant beaches, water parks and family-friendly resorts.
Of course Marmaris isn’t the only destination to have seen prices drop.

Sunny Beach in Bulgaria is also proving a tempting option for Brits on a budget, having taken the second spot in the 10 best value holiday destinations. Bulgaria already has a reputation for offering budget-friendly breaks, with plenty of cheap hotels, restaurants and bars on offer at the resort.
There were plenty of classic summer holiday favourites in the running too, with the likes of Portugal’s Algarve to Spain’s Costa del Sol also proving to offer more bang for your buck this year. (You can see the full top 10 list below).
It’s not just European destinations that could make for bargain breaks. Theme park fans may want to consider a trip to Orlando, where prices are down by around 22{e9f0aada585b9d73d0d08d3c277fd760092386ec23cac37d50f4b8cd792b062a} over two years.

The US hotspot may not be renowned for being budget-friendly, but the good news is that there are ways to find cheap Walt Disney World and cheap Universal Orlando tickets and packages to help you stretch that budget a little further.
There’s more good news for Brits too as the UK’s travel rules changed this month meaning that anyone arriving into the UK won’t need to take Covid tests, the costs of which can quickly add up (although you may still need tests to enter your holiday destination).
