The episode saw the teams build their creations on a rotating baseplate, revealing a story in three parts encompassing a beginning, middle and end.
The top entertainment program on Seven was Home and Away with 1,008,000 viewers, up 20{e9f0aada585b9d73d0d08d3c277fd760092386ec23cac37d50f4b8cd792b062a} on its overnight viewers. Also on Seven, Big Brother Australia was up a robust 51{e9f0aada585b9d73d0d08d3c277fd760092386ec23cac37d50f4b8cd792b062a} as it had 902,000 viewers.
The top program on 10 was Masterchef Australia which had 807,000 viewers, up 22{e9f0aada585b9d73d0d08d3c277fd760092386ec23cac37d50f4b8cd792b062a}. The episode saw Christina (Favourite) go home after struggling with pastry chef Garreth Whitton‘s smoked pecan and butterscotch tart.

Nine has won Tuesday night with a winning primary channel share of 19.5{e9f0aada585b9d73d0d08d3c277fd760092386ec23cac37d50f4b8cd792b062a} and also the top network share with 28.1{e9f0aada585b9d73d0d08d3c277fd760092386ec23cac37d50f4b8cd792b062a}. A factor in this win was that Travel Guides was able to outrate the regular 7:30pm franchises to be the top entertainment program of the night with 554,000 viewers. The episode didn’t take viewers far, as the guides went to Sydney. Matt Wright’s Wild Territory then followed Travel Guides with 289,000 viewers.
On Seven, Home and Away was the top entertainment program for the broadcaster after the soap registered 499,000 viewers. This was the lead in to Big Brother Australia with the total TV darling having 379,000 overnight viewers. The episode saw the returning housemates take control of the game over the newbies. The episode was down on last Tuesday’s 394,000.
On 10, MasterChef Australia was the top program for the broadcaster with 513,000 viewers as the show was also #1 in the 16-39 demo and top five in all key demos. The episode saw Minoli eliminated after a Pressure Test by Alla Wolf-Tasker of the Lake House that saw the contestants cook summer cucumbers with murray cod, without a recipe.
On the ABC, Space 22 debuted with 281,000 viewers before The Family Court Murders had 276,000 tune in for the show’s second episode.
The top program on SBS was Great British Railway Journeys with 174,000 viewers.
