Jamaica takes top Caribbean honours in World Travel Awards – English Version

Jamaica topped the Caribbean in the Globe Travel Awards, buying up trophies for the Caribbean’s Primary Spot, the Caribbean’s Main Cruise Desired destination and the Caribbean’s Top Vacationer Board.

Jamaica’s Sangster International Airport also gained the Caribbean’s Foremost Airport.

The winners of the World Vacation Awards had been announced this week with Jamaica top the region with the majority of the major awards.

With Caribbean tourism resurgent in 2021, Montego Bay’s latest arrival, Eclipse at Half Moon, picked up the Caribbean’s Foremost New Resort, and The Ritz-Carlton, Turks and Caicos won the Caribbean’s Primary New Resort.
