With Spring Break on the horizon, it’s really time for students, parents, and teachers alike to start planning a vacation. Whether it’s been a stressful semester or not, everyone needs a break, and there’s nothing more relaxing than a resort in a tropical climate. Poolside service? Check! Luxurious mattress? Probable check! Scuba diving? Not exactly what comes to mind with resorts, but there are places on this list that do provide that, so potential check!
But which resort to choose for Spring Break? There’s plenty out there. Or better yet, where to go for Spring Break? Usually, destinations fit into one of the following categories: warm, affordable, very different from what home looks like, and delicious (the food, not the physical place). Popular destinations that can fit in all four include Miami Beach, Jamaica, and the Bahamas, but there’s so much more than just this.
Check-in and chill out at one (or more!) of these 10 relaxing resorts to enjoy over Spring Break, spread out across the US and abroad.
10 Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Florida
Florida is known for its over-the-top resorts – look no further than those in Miami – and the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando fits snugly among them. Though technically a golf resort – there are 36 holes of golf, plus a separate pitch ‘n putt course – they are not messing around when it comes to providing the full package. With restaurants, volleyball and basketball courts, waterfalls, pools (whirlpool included), a lake, and, of course, a sandy white beach, guests might easily forget about the complimentary shuttle bus to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando.
Perfect for families and couples, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is a great stay as a relaxing resort to enjoy over Spring Break.
